DEA, a Bologna-based company specializing in the rental of aerial access equipment, earthmoving machinery, and transport vehicles, is entering a new phase in its growth journey by becoming part of the Kiloutou Group, one of Europe’s leading equipment rental operators.

Founded in Bologna in 2007, DEA has established itself over time as a leading player in the general equipment rental sector, with a strong specialization in aerial work platforms. Today, the company operates a fleet of more than 500 pieces of equipment and serves primarily industrial clients through two branches located in the outskirts of Bologna.

DEA’s entry into the perimeter of Kiloutou Italia represents an opportunity for further development, enabling the company to build on the expertise developed locally and to integrate into a well-established and growing network. The transaction forms part of Kiloutou’s broader expansion strategy in Italy and strengthens the Group’s presence in Emilia-Romagna, where it already operates three branches.

DEA’s locations and its team of 13 professionals will be progressively integrated into the Kiloutou Italia network, which currently comprises 27 branches and around 300 employees. In continuity with the industrial project, Andrea De Angelis, founder and Managing Director of DEA, will join the Kiloutou Italia team, contributing to the development of its activities in the local area.

Dea was assisted by BLF Studio Legale with a team lead by partner Giovanni Ludergnani, supported by senior associate Francesco Ludergnani and associate Gaetano Ruvolo.
