BLF Law Firm strengthens Litigation and consolidates the Non-Contentious
BLF Law Firm announces the appointment of Sergio Orlando as Counsel, joining the Litigation department, which is currently expanding to meet steadily growing demand.
Orlando brings extensive experience in judicial and arbitral litigation and advises banks, financial intermediaries, companies and private clients in managing disputes relating, among other things, to banking contracts and services, investments, financing relationships, debt recovery, and litigation connected with non-performing loans (NPLs).
His practice also extends to corporate law and the liability of directors, statutory auditors, shareholders, and statutory auditors, as well as to contractual and non-contractual liability. He further assists clients in proceedings brought against them in the context of insolvency procedures.
In addition, Orlando advises companies and business operators in managing distressed business situations, with particular focus on contentious issues arising during phases of financial distress and insolvency. His profile is further enhanced by an integrated approach that combines litigation work with assistance in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and corporate transactions, with a view to risk prevention and effective protection in contentious proceedings.
At the same time, BLF Law Firm also announces the appointment of Associate Francesca Maria Berruti, who joins the team dedicated to out-of-court practice, with a focus on corporate and commercial law, extraordinary transactions, and M&A.
Berruti has gained solid experience in the Milan market, advising both domestic and international clients operating in highly specialized sectors, including agritech and media & communication.
Alongside her professional practice, she has pursued an academic path developed both in Italy and abroad and is about to complete a PhD in Business and Law.
“The appointments of Sergio Orlando and Francesca Maria Berruti confirm the Firm’s growth trajectory and its intention to strategically strengthen its key practice areas, while maintaining a high level of specialization and an integrated approach, in line with the evolving needs of its clients” comments Andrea Corbelli, partner of BLF Law Firm.
