Alberto De Pra, admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court, is Associate Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Padua, where he also teaches Corporate Law in Crisis.
He also lectures on Introduction to European Competition Law within the Law & Economics PhD program at the University of Bologna.
In his professional practice, he focuses on corporate law, insolvency law, banking law, and competition (antitrust) law.
He has been appointed on several occasions as bankruptcy trustee and judicial commissioner in composition with creditors proceedings, and since 2023 he has been registered in the official list of business crisis managers. He has also served as a member of arbitral tribunals.
Professor De Pra is the author of numerous publications across different areas, including antitrust law and international mergers, corporate law with a particular focus on creditor protection in extraordinary transactions, insolvency law, and banking law.
He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Italian Association of Crisis Management Experts (AIECC) and of the editorial board of Ristrutturazioni aziendali, as well as managing editor of Giurisprudenza commerciale.
