Prd-Pasini, based in Castel d’Ario in the province of Mantua, produces rice- and oat-based ingredients for the food industry. With a turnover of €30 million and 23 employees, the company is a specialist operator in a growing segment: cereal-based raw materials for processing.

Following the sale of the minority shareholder’s stake, the company becomes part of a group with a turnover of over €1.4 billion, approximately 500 employees, 11 production plants across Italy, Spain, Romania and Bulgaria, and 5 storage centres.

The transaction confirms the interest of major players in the supply chain in specialised local production expertise.
