Idra, a company owned by the Bianchi family, has completed the sale of all of its shares in Alben to Italgen, an Italmobiliare Group company owned by the Pesenti family that is active in the renewable energy sector.

Alben owns two hydroelectric power plants operating since 2007 in the municipality of Valleve, in the province of Bergamo, with a total installed capacity of 4 MW and an average annual production of 10 GWh, equal to the electricity consumption of about 3,700 households.

In parallel with the operation, Idra signed a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) with Italgen that will ensure the supply of completely renewable energy to the Costa Verde Natura resort, a 4-star accommodation facility in Clusane, on the shores of Lake Iseo.
