How controls change in companies that use Artificial Intelligence

Events
17 February 2026

The course aims to examine how the use of Artificial Intelligence reshapes corporate risk profiles and, consequently, how the activities of the supervisory body evolve.

During the webinar, our Pier Luigi Morara awill address the topic of the adoption and use of Artificial Intelligence within companies in compliance with the applicable regulatory framework, focusing on a twofold perspective:

  • On the one hand, how controls must evolve when corporate activities are carried out using AI-based tools;
  • On the other hand, the legal and operational framework within which the use of AI by statutory auditors and external auditors takes place.

The discussion fits within the framework of the most recent institutional guidance, including the Guidelines issued by CNDCEC on the supervisory role of the board of statutory auditors regarding the adoption of AI and the… Monograph n. 5 issued by Assirevi dedicated to the use of Artificial Intelligence in audit activities.

An opportunity for in-depth technical analysis of a topic that concerns not the future, but the present of oversight activities, with the aim of providing interpretative and operational tools to consciously integrate new technologies, without diminishing the necessary professional skepticism that characterizes the role of statutory auditors and external auditors.
