The Benincasa family, owners of Assotech — an Italian company based in Pianoro (Bologna) and a key player in the assembly and distribution of rubber profiles for the earth-moving machinery and forklift markets — has sold a majority stake to Unigasket. Unigasket, headquartered in Villongo (BG), is a group active in the production of hoses and seals for a wide range of industrial sectors, and is controlled by private equity firm Palladio Holding (“PFH”) and Vittorio Calissi.
The Benincasa family will retain operational leadership through Nicola and Leonardo Benincasa.
This acquisition marks a further step in Unigasket’s external growth strategy alongside Palladio Holding, aimed at consolidating the Group’s presence in high-potential niche markets. The transaction confirms Unigasket’s industrial focus and international outlook, as it seeks to strengthen its position by aggregating manufacturing excellence in response to the challenges of global markets.
The Benincasa family was advised by BLF Studio Legale, with a team composed of Partner Giovanni Ludergnani, Senior Associate Francesco Ludergnani and Associate Maddalena Natali.
